Public Transportation:

6 short stops into Brooklyn (Morgan Avenue stop) on the L train (The L train will be running to the Lorimer stop. From there you will need to catch the shuttle bus making all regular stops to the Montrose or Morgan stop -- the third and fourth stops respectivly
(from 14th Street/Union Square station, expect 15-minute ride)

Driving from 278 West (BQE) via LIE or Midtown Tunnel:

take Morgan Avenue exit (1st exit in Brooklyn), left on Morgan Avenue South, proceed 1.3 miles

Driving from 278 East (BQE):

take Metropolitan Avenue exit, right onto Metropolitan, proceed straight 1.2 miles (through shopping district), right at light onto Morgan

From Williamsburg Bridge:

take right ramp to second exit (Broadway/South 5th Street), shortly after crossing bridge, left at light on Havemyer Street, right at next light(under BQE overpass), proceed straight 1.0 miles on Grand Street (through shopping district), right at light onto Morgan Avenue
